3 QUICK ways to reduce hip stiffness and make arthritic hips feel good

Reduced stiffness = better mobility and less pain ✅

Muscles can become tight around an arthritic hip, especially a painful one. This can be due to the body’s response to pain and also subtle movement compensations you may be making because of pain ☝🏽

The good news is there are certain movements that can help!

The key is making sure these movements don’t increase pain significantly. They should feel good ✅

Gentle movements like this can be more beneficial than static stretching as they can help to improve blood flow and improve longer term mobility 🙌🏼

For each movement, 5-15 reps may be helpful to start with but it depends on how they feel for you 👀

Great job, at 66 I’ve been doing 2 walks a day totaling between 10 and 14 thousand steps a day. A little stiff and sore in the morning. Came across your video and totally relieved the pain/ tightness. Thanks much!!

Dear Alyssa, thanks for your work! I know you are focusing on exercises for arthritis patients, but I recently had a knee surgery on the anterior cruciate ligament.
