How to get a job as a Software Engineer:

I think mobile application development would make a lot of sense, however I struggle to decide if iOS would make sense. Perhaps as a two path situation, like the software engineering bachelors, could make sense. The problem with iOS dev being mandatory coursework is that it would require every single student to own an Apple computer. For many that would be an automatic deal breaker, unless the school was supplying the computers.

Frankly I hope they get both a SWE and CS masters degree eventually. It’s a shame I’ll likely being applying to grad school for CS long before the degree ever appears at WGU. I would love to knock it out at WGU and be done.
