How to Reset Oil Life on 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 2500 3500 2014-2017

Here are some steps on how to reset your oil life on your 2014-2017 Dodge Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500.

1. Turn vehicle on, but don't start it (keep foot off of brake)
2. Use down key on steering wheel until you get to the oil life screen
3. Hold down the right arrow key
4. Hit OK
5. Hit right arrow key to confirm (on the video I hit the wrong key the first time).
6. Your oil life should be reset!!

My 2015 ecodiesel ignition on, pump throttle pedal 3 times and turn ignition off. done

Just put ignition to run position and than run the gaz pedal down 3 times... should work better.

I could be wrong, but this didn't work for me when i just shut off truck then turned the key back to run. I tried it a bunch of times. I finally took key out. Opened door. Shut door then reinstalled key and turned it to run. Went through button sequence. Then it reset.

You forgot to add “do this as many times as it takes until it works.” We had to hold the button and select ok and confirm maybe 7 times before it worked.
