Great Video! Most of the mobile chargers that come with the car come with 110VAC/15 amp plugs... but you can usually get an adaptor, so if you can get a 240 VAC/30amp plug ( like an NEMA 14-50) you can charge at around the same rate as a built-in level 2 charger. So people can just shell out for a plug and charge just as fast.

Level 1 charger (120 volts): Add 8 kilometers to the battery, then complete charging after a day.
Level 2 charger (240 volts): Add 48 kilometers to the battery, then complete charging after 4 hours.
Level 3 charger (DC 480 volts): Add 180 kilometers to the battery, then complete charging after 50 minutes.

And where are you finding these level three chargers because it is easier to find a needle in a haystack. I've never found a level three charger yet for my Mercedes, yet. I hear about them, but it becomes like an urban legend.

Just an FYI there’s no such thing as a level three charger there almost was that that was back at 96

That Petrol Canada is very reasonable pricing I think. That works out to 14 cents USD per kWh. That’s a good price for fast charging. How much is it per kWh for residential electricity?

Justin. A level 3 charger uses a css1 plug. Did your ride come with 2 ports? If not, how were you able to hook up the level 3?

doing my research into EVs as i feel now is a good time to get one, this was really helpful. The level 3 chargers are really amazing.

I thought a level 3 charger doesn’t exist??? Level 1 = 120volt, Level 2 = 240 volt. Level 3 ???

At 3 minutes, I've completely filled my gas tank.

On the120v Standard charger, 22 hours to charge to 51%... and you wonder why the AVERAGE person is NOT Buying EV's? Time to get real. What a waste of time.
It's Bullshit. Go to a Freeway corner where there is a gas station, Imagine ALL Of those cars connecting up to chargers... NOW Can you imagine the LINE?
Wait till they're all out there and you try to plug in to FAST CHARGE and there's a BIG Truck in front of you.
Wake up.
