Faith building. We can fix our heart. Submit to our Father God and resist the temptation. I will add that Billy Graham always traveled with men to help set the protection and accountability in place. We may need a strong Christian friend we can call to help us with temptation until we can overcome with His help alone.

I find, my cares & fears can so easily distract me from the Love of God, if I let them. We need to be Painfully Aware of the Love of God by beholding the Cross of Christ, Who suffered So for us, achieving All our Victories & Allowing for All our cares & fears to be consumed... by His Love, Mercy & Grace. If we can practice casting our cares & fears upon the Lord, giving them All to Him, which He so eagerly desires, they will be taken away, as a veil (the deception, ploys & attacks of the enemy) from before our eyes, that we are more clearly able to receive & believe that His Heart IS for us & not against us & His Arms are more than capable of keeping our feet from stumbling. We have to keep looking to the Cross, so that we may "fellowship with His sufferings" & therefore Know the Power of His Resurrection in our lives. Keeping our eyes "stayed upon Him" is most assuredly studying the Cross (by His Word), realising in our souls the Peace of God that went before us 2000years ago for our healing, reconciliation to the Father & saving to the uttermost. I believe, that is a good way to "prepare our hearts", to keep it fixed on the Cross of Christ.
