If you listen closely enough, you can hear the screams of everyone who's tried clearing this level in Hard Mode.

I can't believe that the hardest level in the game has become my favorite level.

Dead Ahead is infamous, but it’s probably one of my favorite levels. I honestly think it is the quintessential Pardo stage. I like it more and more each time I replay it.

My favourite parts of this song are the one's that go "WAWAWAWAWAWAWAWAA''

So badass, emotional and climatic. Really helps you to keep your sanity in Dead Ahead lol.

Dead Ahead, is the level where you REALLY need to respect HM2, in that it pretty much tells you, "you CAN'T beat this game using stealth, and sneaking around, it's not like HM1" and it pretty much pushes you into the deep end, and tells you "You need to be on the offensive, or you're not going to make it from here". Now I get it, that mindset is why a lot of people prefer HM1 over 2, but I absolutely respect the hell out of 2 for taking that stance. The stance of telling the player, they need to adapt to the game, and play by IT'S rules. And the sheer rush of adrenaline you get, when you DO learn how to adapt to the fast paced play style, the absolute feeling of accomplishment, when you first see and hear that "Level Clear".

As a result. I think Dead Ahead is my favourite level in the entire series.

I just want to give a huge tribute to all those big enemies and dogs and one of those enemies capable of moving freely in that level in Hard Mode.
Thank you for making my life a living hell trying to beat this level.

From what i know from Scattle's social media accounts it seems like he's in a depressive state currently and a lot more toxic to his fans after the reveal that he was depressed. It could be a reason why all of his music was deleted but it's probably based on the guidlines of Youtube Premium. I just hope Scattle is not in a lot of pain right now and wish that he gets support from people they trust.

Of all the retrowave artists and artists on the hotline Miami ost, I find Scattles music particularly stands out to me. Him and Jasper Byrne

This song really makes me nostalgic out of all the other songs, especially 2:04. It just hits my soul and I don’t know why.

the only reason i was able to beat dead ahead is because i was playing it while a friend was watching and he said
“why do you play like a coward, just go for it”
