The story also implies another interpretation. Sometimes you think you are helping somebody while in fact you are holding them back from growing on their own. A child needs to fall before it can walk. Sometimes we think to know what’s best for somebody, but what worked for you doesn't mean it will work for somebody else. You will feel bad when you try to help somebody but it backfired on you. Maybe they don’t need your help and/or they never said you should help them. But still you tried. This means that it is necessary to learn for ourself to let go and don’t act and let the butterfly grow.
