We must expand — not cut — Social Security.

At a time when half of older Americans have no retirement savings & 55% of seniors are trying to survive on less than $25,000 a year, our job is not to cut Social Security or raise taxes on workers. Our job is to expand it so all seniors can live with the dignity they deserve.

To the millionaires in House of Representatives in Congress - I paid into Social Security from 1969 until 2021, which is the year when I began collecting my retirement benefits. What galls me is I believe that someone only has to serve for 5 years in the House of Representatives to have pension benefits.

We need to honor the intention of social security, which is dignity and an adequate standard of living for our elders, which is the very least that our country should do for our citizens. These “pro-life” republicans need to be educated about this.
