Migraines are very common within our society and can be hugely disrupted causing a large number of sick days as one is confined to their bed. It is caused by what is termed as a cortical spreading depression where a bunch of unstable neurons fire causing a cascade of neurons to fire across the brain leading to vascular and neuronal changes producing headaches along with the other aura type of symptoms.
In this video I go through some supplements that can be very effective for some people suffering with migraines.

Dr. Hulme, what about Magnesium Oxide? I saw a good review on Amazon saying it helped a migraine sufferer. I almost bought it and may soon, unless you think magnesium glycinate would help me better? I am going to see if Riboflavin and Magnesium can at least reduce my number of migraines.
