Omg this is happening to me with a few of my relatives! All these points. They suddenly give me the cold shoulder infront of everyone and start favouring strangers as if it's normal. Even everyone around me can read the room, it's so humiliating and unpleasant.

Why are they so charming? 3500 hours of therapeutic education later and I still find myself being charmed by them. The trick is to just get out of there as soon as you figure it out like a building is on fire .

100% truth. I will never forget toxic anniversary. She said what "anniversary", we are not together for a long time. Then she love bombed the next day and got me a present... We broke up 6 months later... I kept that present as a war trophy, to remind me of my new survival skills.
