Cossack squats also help plus low lunges for hips and ankles, ankle n hip mobility go together

I did behind the neck presses last week and my shoulders felt pretty tight (10+ rep range but it was also after heavy bench presses). This week when I did squats, my rack position felt much more comfortable and I even hit my overhead press pr casually behind the neck. I shouldn’t have slept on them. 😂

Is calf cramping during single leg exercises related to poor ankle mobility? I've noticed during touchdown squats or certain yoga poses, my calves give out before my glutes or quads do.

Your boy Adriel squats with his heels off the ground intentionally. My mobility absolutely sucks so i started squatting with my heels off the ground also, without support. And i find that it works well for me. Still strong and stable

I have a fused ankle from a skiing accident. Definitely can't improve my ankle mobility

Deep squat is only safely do-able when a person has little to no excess body fat on their hamstrings and calves/behind the knees... :)

Will anyone talk about the sneakers with 6inch spongy foam sole ? Hope nobody squats in shoes like that ever. I see she went barefoot but doing the ankle mobility drill is nearly pointless while you have shoes on that have a massive heel toe drop anyway.
