A PC Case NO ONE Asked For - Cooler Master NC100 Review

preview_player
Показать описание
The Cooler Master NC100 is an ultra small form factor case that's meant to build an ITX gaming PC with Intel's NUC Compute Elements. The ironic thing is that its actually a really, really good case that's attached to a pretty expensive platform. Let's check out airflow, size and more

I wish that CM would make a sandwich style layout case with this design that fits standard components. I really dig the aesthetic.

At first I was like: Oh, look a new cool smol case that might not cost a fortune.
Doesn't support itx 😥

That ryzen cpu was hanging out on the table wondering why this thing exists.

This guy makes the greatest review videos, straight honesty and clarity, while keeping his studio the cleanest of anyone, maybe it's because I have a small apartment I dunno

The NUC module should have had the components on the other side of the board. That way, when you install it alongside a GPU, the intake fans can pull air from both sides of the case rather than having to leave a gap between the module and GPU to let it breathe. That also has the added benefit of allowing for some super thin case designs if you were to lay both components flat rather than side by side.

would be interested to know if it will be compatible with the 11 and the upcoming 12 compute module, price for this case are dropping and i am seeing it on sale for 140€ new.. Almost worth it just for the sfx gold power supply in it

Now Cooler Master needs to make a sub-10 litre itx case like the NR200.

holy shit your intro sent me down a memory lane.
First three tunes sounded so familiar until I realized they are almost the exact same as the starting notes of "do you feel it" from Chaos Chaos. I knew it was somewhere in my favourites list but couldn't find it (it was privatized). I spent the next hour listening to similiar songs I liked and re-instating other privatized videos in my playlist.
Now I'm back to actually watching this video.

I would love to see the NUC compute become a regular product. You get one of these cases where you install a computer board and a gpu, both equally upgradable in the future.

Really want more sff cases from big companies. Usually they are from kickstarter, unavailable, sold out, etc.

Not gonna lie, the design looks absolutely great but it's a shame that you have to use NUC

I've been using this for two weeks so far, and I can say it kicks ass.

Why can't the daughter board have the NUC element PCIE connector rotate 180 degrees to take in the fresh air on the other side?

Love your videos, but a case with a 650W gold certified power supply thats in a niche market for $200 is not bad, IMO.

The red USB-A's at 3:48 are red because they still get power if the PC is sleeping. I use this feature all the time when I'm studying :p

If it's pulling air from out in and up does it matter if the side filters are glued on? Wouldn't you just clean the outside part anyways ?
