honestly, i think that the time investment required for grinds in mmos improved my work ethic for slower projects & goals; if i can spend 300 hours getting a fishing cape, i can get anything else done in my life 😆

I cant say Josh has gotten me addicted to MMOs but he has opened my eyes enough to tell if I will enjoy one based on the tutorial. So I can say ive jumped ship off quite a few early on. Still cant stop playing ESO though

Agree with all except the implied negativity in gatekeeping. The only people complaining about gatekeeping are the ones that the gate is there to keep out. The people that want to change the thing into something its not because they do not actually like it as it currently is, for if they did they would not be feeling gatekeept.

Gatekeeping is just quality control for ones enjoyments. And in the end anyone can play alone with noone able to stop them.
