I've liked this guy for almost 4 years and I knew nothing was gonna happen, but now he is gone and it's heartbreaking. I tried to find him on the last day of school when we graduated but I was too late. He doesn't have social media and my "friend" didn't want to give me his number. The only thing left to do was email him. I knew he wouldn't see it but at least I tried. It's been a couple of months now and when new years came, my goal was to forget about him. I just almost got over him, but then my other friend came to me and told me she saw him around here. Worst day of my life because this has now been the second time I've missed a chance to see him. I tried to like some other guy I used to like but it wasn't the same. In my heart, I knew he would reject me so I didn't try (as much). I did give hints though.
