Therapeutic exercises and stretches or therapy are not meant to bulk up muscles, they are meant to help retrain muscles and get them working how they are supposed to again. Once everything is healed, then you can work on building muscles.

Subscribed a few weeks ago because I really want to get into better shape but realised - I'm 22 years old and never learned how to stretch properly. Really liked the shoulder stretches video bc I dislocated my shoulder as a kid and it wasn't allowed to heal properly, so it's just been having really painful flare-ups every few weeks ever since... Nasty habit of cracking my neck and carrying a 30-40lb backpack on one strap at school all day for six consecutive school years probably didn't do it any favours either! But those stretches really help, and I'm looking forward to starting with weights once I get the habit of stretching properly.

Hello, can you please make a detailed good exercise video for RA patients? Last month my doctor suggested me to go to the physiotherapist and I couldn't understand much she taught me because she was so quick and in hurry... I'm surfing on whole YT to find helpful exercise for all my joint pain ..I Will be really greatful if you made detailed exercise video for all the joints pain 🙏

How do you prevent from overtraining because the injuries comes like a blow not sneaking up?

Hello gain doctor. Just to be sure, PT using ankle weights, should it be given 48 hrs for the muscles to recover, or can that be done every day ?

Hi Jo . I just joined today becoz I saw ur videos on exercises for shoulder pain or frozen shoulder. I have frozen shoulder with whole arm pain and rigidity. I did few exercises told by u today and feeling strain in neck today. These exercises were child pose stretch of arm in front and chair exercise of moving arm loose. Tell me what I'm doing wrong possibly that feeling pain in neck or is it normal? Is there only one stretch exercise I can stick too ?

Dr. Jo - I am not sure if I mentioned to you that I am trying to get back into routine with my stretching/strengthening therapy for my knees, back and hip flexors. I noticed yesterday and this morning my knee has a tightness and tugging feeling against my left knee cap. This is the same knee that has the torn meniscus in the past and missing cartilage on the inner knee. What you think is happening? I also noticed that the bell is gray and I used to get notifications to my gmail and now lately it's not happening, not sure why. 💓💕
