🙋🏼 ABOUT ME: Hi guys! My name is Alyona. I was born in Russia. I'm a musician. And I love art, makeup, fashion, style and beautiful environments. I love playing with makeup and fashion, but at the same time, I’m quite a minimalistic person. I don't like the idea of being fixated on the body too much. I have an alternative and unconventional viewpoint on beauty, the body types and face shapes. I love helping other women find their "it" and finally discover their beauty and boost their confidence.

Would love to see a video on what eye shadow colours suits skin tone and eye colour the best. I have blue eyes and pale skin so some eyeshadows make me look tired or too dark, especially when doing under eye shadow too. I never know where to use Matt or shimmer eyeshadow either.

After many many years of erroneously being slated into the 'warm or golden yellow' category and wearing colours that only dragged me down, I finally determined I have neutral light olive skintones. I learned this after holding a white sheet of paper against my face and I literally watched the green and cool yellow in my skin pop out. After much subsequent experimentation, I've gained the understanding of how to straddle the middle in terms of colour temperature. I actually prefer the slightly cooler side. In any event, either extreme is super unflattering; makes me look ashy or downright jaundiced. You are one of the few who seems to understand this!! Unfortunately, this is also not an area well covered by foundations. For me, its always a mad scientist mix of 2 or 3 products. Great video as always.

Hi Aly! I really love your channel, and remember watching your videos years ago. I'm super happy that you've become so popular! If I could offer a suggestion, I think it might be good to follow up your videos with some real-life advice/uses of color theory. The theory itself is fascinating, but if you could give some advice on how to use color theory in creating outfits/makeup looks that would be great! Just my opinion. You keep doing you :)
