Everything that is used to reduce hyperpigmentation is acid... for example ascorbic acid, aha, bha, pha, tranexamic acid, kojic acid and everyone also suggests them for pigmentation

I agree about the acids. Since I started using them again, my hyperpigmentation deepened. And more inflammatory. An emollient without acids had kept my face clear. I don’t why I always fall for new products although I know better 🙄. Ill continue to eat my vitamin c instead of putting it on my sensitive skin.

Can you be specific on which type of acids to avoid?

Best thing I did was not force it to go away. Just let it be there.

Daytime (MWF)
Cleanser
Vitamin C 30% concentration or 20%, or lower for sensitive skin
Hydrator
Sunscreen

Daytime (TThSS)
know your skin type, how thick is your skin, how fast you grow dead skin cells, acne type, concerns, sensitivity, etc.. for exfoliating toner or serum, for example, I got blackheads so I'd choose 2% BHA over anything

Niacinamide
Hydrator
Sunscreen

Night (everyday)
Cleanser
Retinol
Niacinamide
Hydrator
Sunscreen

That's about it. I like it. I also drink vitamin C, fish oil, etc.. I have PCOS so I still have acne.
