This was super helpful!!! The regedit export was a huge time saver along with the walk through of the robocopy command switches. Thanks for the help. /SRL

Very good helpful. But copying registry from old server like 2008r2 to copy to svr 2022 will there be impact? Another question If using do namespace on new server will have issue?

Great video, thanks! One doubt. If its a dfs namespace server having multiple sub folders and folder targets. And we want to move them to a new server. In that case, post installing the roles in the new server, can we move the dfsroots folder from old to new via robocopy? And then export/import the registry? Or if there is any other way pls let me know.

Thanks again.

Sir, End user can access directly with this method or we have to change in GPO's and put the path in logon script?

No one using VMs? Attach the VMDK from the old server to the new server, export/import Shares from the registry. Done! 😊
