String Your Weed Eater Like a BOSS - Load Trimmer Line Fast

Learn to string your weed eater the easy way. I show you how to load string trimmer line on both a traditional head as well as a speedfeed head. Both are great products but require different methods to restring. I am loading about 12 feet of line of both. In both cases, I have pre cut the string before respooling. It just takes a little practice to get the hang of it.

JC, as fast as the Speed Feedhead is, I can't believe you still use the H. head at all

It works best if you put the spool into the cap and pull the string down into the eyelets, then put the whole assembly back onto the trimmer. It's almost just as fast as my speed feed when done this way.

how to make both sides equal length? start off with one side a few inches longer than the other.

The Husqvarna universal t35 trimmer head will hold 28 ft of .095 string. I precut all mine to 20 ft which is the limit for my Echo SRM225 with Speed Feed Head.

How often does the Speed Feed jam? My Echo head jams about 1-2 times per load no matter how tight or lose I do the line? Can you show the steps to un-jam a Speed Feed. I'd like to see how hard that is compared to my Echo head.
