When a Transformers game comes out it gets 6/10 on IGN because is shallow shooting. Than how come IGN gives CoD games 9/10?

This was pretty ok game. I liked the multiple characters it gave you the option to play as, I liked sideswipe, optimus (both versions) bee, ironhide, oh cool jazz is in this. Starscream, megatron, soundwave, grinder, I just wish I could play as jetfire and jolt

This is one of the best movie games ever. The story might be a bit disappointing, but everything else is a lot better than how IGN reviewed it, and I was mostly pissed off by how IGN reviewed the gameplay and graphics. For a 2009 game, it has some pretty good graphics. The characters had diverse playstyles, because most characters had largely different weapons that did different things, and every character has a special ability that can always turn the tables during a losing fight.

Overall, this game doesn't deserve a mere 6.0, and should be at least 8.2.

Okay I feel IGN on the story part, but it actually looks pretty good, call me simple but I'm actually pretty amazed by the transforming animation, that must have took a lot of work. To just switch like that is pretty cool, and me being not a huge transformers fan, this is like Twisted Metal meets Armored Core. And I can get down with that.

Besides the fact that you always have to keep moving in vehicle mode as a land vehicle (which should be like helicopters where you move with analog stick) the controls are acceptable and are easy enough to go with. Having to hold the transform button might seem bad but it goes well with doing stunts like advanced jumps.

This game was an absolute slapper. Campaign may have been short but it had a lot of replayability. And the multiplayer absolutely SLAPPED.

The Multiplayer services have shutdown permanently on this game unfortunately so don't buy this game unless you are okay with just playing the campaign. During the time when the multiplayer servers were active, this game was very fun and entertaining.

it's not too bad a game the multiplayer was worth it for me esspecially with the dlc that had G1 models. and personally i liked how you held R-trigger to be in vehicle mode it made going from transforming to attacking more fluid than the first game and this was probably the biggest improvement in the whole game along with the multiplayer.

I grew up with the PS2 version, didn't know they had a completely different PS3 version.I honestly liked the PS2 version. But I was younger.

@JonHakkers The action was ok...when you could see it. Remember, this is Michael Bay, so the camera never stays still, never focuses on the action, the edits are way too hackneyed and confusing, and the sound is all over the place. It doesn't help that the Transformers look AWFUL! Seriously, I think they purposefully came up with the worst designs they could think of just so we couldn't tell them apart.
