Canadian family convicted of stealing millions in lottery scheme

A family has been convicted of stealing lottery tickets from their place of business and cashing in a winning ticket worth $12.5 million.

It`s about time, my dad demanded his losing tickets back and demanded to see proof of his win, he knew years ago how easy it was for store owners to lie, utterly disgusting. I hope they serve every day of their sentence.

These variety store owners have been doing this for a while. It happened to me. I went to check my ticket and the lady put her hand over her mouth and just stood there with the ticket. The other person in the store saw that she was frozen, ran to her took the ticket and gave me $20.00. They would not give the ticket back. I wrote the lottery cooperation and I am not sure what was done.

Some lucky unlucky person had the winning ticket then had that store scan it, the owner knew it was a winner and probably told the person it was a loser! The same thing happened to my friend, she only won 3k compared to millions, but still it’s all messed
