Clark on of the problems is the attitude known as not in my back yard in terms of power plants I grew up 4 1/2 miles from the oyster creek nuclear power plant in New Jersey I was never scared of that plant we took tours there as kids and they are working on ways to recharge the spent fuel

Factors usually missed in evaluating power sources are the need for conservation and efficiency measures. Missing elements in the nuclear evaluation are the cost of plant closings, earthquake preparation, and terrorism.
