Apple AirTags: How to set up and use the tracker

Apple AirTags are tiny disk-shaped Bluetooth trackers that can attach to an item (with a case) like your keys. AirTags use Apple's Find My network to keep their location updated anytime they come into range of another device on Find My. The beacon-style devices work similarly to Tile trackers and Samsung Galaxy SmartTags. But AirTags also have ultrawideband that can connect to your iPhone 11 or 12 for step-by-step directions that guide you to your misplaced item. I walk you through how to set up an AirTag, how to use it and how to find it when it’s lost.

The only negative I've noticed so far is there's no volume control on the beeper, and if you have the AirTag in a zipper compartment in your handbag the beeper is not very loud. Maybe their next version of AirTags will have a volume controls. Thanks for the video!

Good video. I've purchased six of them and have attached them to my keys, pocketbook, AirPods cases and backpack. They're not as loud as Tiles, but smaller size makes it a bit more compact when dangling from iPods case. The directional assist on 12 Pro Max is a little better than walking around my house trying to figure exactly where the Tile tone is coming from. All in all, I'm please with AirTags

I liked the little dance about 3:36 when the tag chimed. I'm nearly seventy and when you asked Siri "where's the air tag and it started chiming. Hahaha.
I hate spoken voice gadgetry. Just get up and turn the lights on or off. Different generation. Mind you some houses are big in the USA. So I guess if it takes five minutes to walk to the switch it makes sense. You made this Englishman smile anyway so that can't be bad can it?

I bought my Mom a Apple Air Tag for Mother’s Day and before watching your video we watched someone else’s tutorial 😢(not so good). Midway through we ended it and found yours and I just have to tell you yours was by far much more easy to follow. Your video was perfect 🎉 you were funny and informative at the same time. I see this video was made a while ago. Hopefully you’ll see this. So rookie question. I was told these are good for luggage, lost keys etc. Does “within Bluetooth range” mean if those items are say a mile away because you left them at the airport that they will not show you where they are?

Thanks for this video. I almost had it, but didn't realize I needed to be within a few feet to be able to home in and also I had removed my airtag speaker. One thing that confused me was when I approached the airtag on my bike was when the screen message said it needed more light? What does that do?

Can you use it to locate your luggage when you have checked it in? There won’t be Bluetooth near your tag. Thank you for sharing these tips and information.
