My story was I got the notification at 4:19am. I was freaking out because I just moved house and all my belongs were touched by the moving company. I can’t imagine if someone drop this little tag in one of my boxes and track my location all the time. So I got up immediately, and kept tap play sound, after trying a thousand times, finally I found where the sound came from - it came from a cat outside my window 😂

So if the a certain thing with airtag you stole, you can deactivate it so owner cant locate it. Kinda off.

I think it takes hours to notify someone so using this in your car if it gets stolen can buy you some time since you can hide it good and they wont get notified for a while, could get stalked too but i think more people will use it for stolen things

i feel like a good feature is to be able to reset the airtag that has been tracking you so they cant track you anymore and u get a free airtag that u can use

This should include more detailed information on making the required settings. For example, is Time-Sensitive-Notfication setting required (it's not default)

‘Tracking Notifications’ and the icon for this option used in this video are no where to be found in settings. Why use this term and icon if neither are representative of what’s available to the user?

my girlfriend got a notification that an unknown airtag is moving w her and her phone wouldn't connect in order for us to locate and play the sound. this seems like a big safety hazard, as anyone can attach an airtag to your car or belongings and track you.

People can easily stalk you without an AirTag, should get rid of the notification feature and let us use it for tracking stolen items without alerting the thief.

What if a parent places an AirTag in the pocket or the backpack of a child, who then gets abducted? Wouldn't that alert the kidnapper that they are being tracked, if they have an iPhone? Or if you place an AirTag in your car, and it gets stolen? Will it alert the thief?

Dang I bought an airtag to hide in my car/bike/luggage in the event it ever gets stolen. Guess that's useless. These only help if it's lost. :/ Wish I had seen this video before purchasing haha
