I love this video idea! It’s an interesting take on similar reads and it also goose to show how books that seem so alike can spark wildly different reactions. For instance, Beach Read was a 5 ⭐️ for me and The Roughest Draft was barely a 2 🤷🏻‍♀️. Definitely do more like this, they are great! 💕

The Villa and The Writing Retreat make such a perfect comparison for this - The Villa was NOT working for me with those flashbacks and lack of fleshed-out character, but The Writing Retreat gave me everything I was missing! And it gave ✨chaos✨

I love videos like this! Also, I didn’t really enjoy Malibu Rising (it was okay) but enjoyed Little Fires more, so spot on recc! Definitely felt like it had a similar flow and structure at times and obvi the end haha

And I think Jackal and When The Reckoning Comes is a great comparison! I liked both of these, I gave Jackal 3 stars and WTRC 4 stars. Both didn’t live up to their potential IMO but were interesting nonetheless.
