I do like the pet/PET joke, it's a good use of the medium. For those not in the know: PET means Polytthylene Terephthalate, and is what most drink bottles are made of.

I think that every form of content that gives an story in a written form, with less or more words, counts as reading. Yes, of course, the good aspects of reading are obtained better with traditional literature because you have to do more from your part, contrary to comics and mangas in where things are more simplified to not screwing up the artwork, but, still, is reading, nonetheless.

Therefore, if you don´t like much books, well, you have comics and mangas.
