Tired of people bring in huge bags then standing in aisle trying to shove a car in the overhead bin

We are here not for listening to music.
It’s either music or information.

They must have a deal with the luggage makers! Also, this is just a money grab. I just put two people on a flight. one bag would've cost them $100 to check-in. We opened the bag, took out some items, moved it to another bag and the carry-ons, . The plane still had the SAME WEIGHT to carry, but had we not done this, the airline would've gouged them for $100! The airlines are now just looking to try and close any gaps to make up the fees that they lost in the latest FAA rulings. It's NOT about safety or comfort, it's just greed and avarice. The airlines made several BILLION in fees last year alone.

I remember the old days no: no carry-on luggage, check bags for free. Off & on the plane in five minutes! Airlines should be required to check two bags per ticket for free. Minimal charge for any additional. Airlines should also board passengers sensibly: start at the back and work forward. Deplane: start at the front and work backwards. Sick of phony-baloney, preferential treatments by the airlines and needy passengers who expect the same.

While this says 56 x 40 x 23 cm (which is 22 x 15.75 x 9 inches), I checked with several airlines that I will fly this year, and they say 56 x 36 x 23 (or 22 x 14 x 9 inches). So, you still need to check with your specific airline. I'm going to guess that no airline will allow one larger than the measurements given, but there are airlines that will require it to be even smaller than that.

Luggage manufacturers often don't count the wheels and handles when giving the dimensions. This is erroneous information, beyond misleading. Airlines count everything. Take a tape measure when buying. Many "carry-ons" are NOT.

The extra charges are a SCAM to rip off innocent passengers.

Why is nobody complaining about the real problem: animals of all descriptions on planes with people who have genuine allergies.

The wait limits are a joke! Why is the passenger’s weight not taken into consideration? What is the difference between a 120 lb woman with a luggage that is 20 lb overweight limit and a 300 lb. Man with no luggage? Who should pay for the additional weight the airplane needs to carry?

I remember times, when flying was pleasant!

There should be bigger compensation for airlines losing or breaking luggage as well. compensation for delayed flights (within a reasonable timeframe) should go up for each passenger. that needs standardisation too.

Can you tell us about those clothing dividers you are showing in the carryon?

I hate it when some people have a regular size carry on, but also have a full size backpack as their small personal item. They put both of them in the overhead bin, denying space for others..

I really don’t understand why anyone would ever have a problem with not wanting the plane to be overweight. It might even be helpful to weigh the passengers.

They need to weigh those whales before they sit down and adjust their bag weight accordingly

The carry on weight restrictions are only bringing the USA in line with the rest of the world which have had limits of 7 to 10kg for decades

Why should a 80kg passenger have the same baggage weight restriction as a 150 kg passenger?

It's good they do this with bags! As an international traveller it's only in US they let people on with too big bags! In Europe it's one carry on basically not 2. And everyone can then get their carry-on in the overhead bins.
Don't know if one check in luggage is still included, it was before.
