What Does a T-Rex Sound Like?

What do dinosaurs sound like? How do you create a sound that nobody has heard before? This was the challenge that faced the creators of Jurassic Park. To make the dinosaurs sound convincing, the filmmakers had to come up with innovative new sound design techniques. This is the story of how the iconic Jurassic Park T-Rex sound effect was created.

I mean some of the actual dinosaurs sounds would be amazing in horror movies like imagine there's a scene in Jurassic Park 3 by the walling around the floor is then seeing a dead body and just hear the faint sound of the actual spinosaurus roar that sounds like an actual person crying out for help or just shouting or singing T-Rex making slight but silent but barely

I always remember hearing the T-Rex roar when it first steps out of the paddock when I was a kid and thinking it was incredible!

Fun fact: the blowhole sounds of whale 🐳 was used for T Rex breathing sound effects and I don't think anything else would've been that perfect at that time no 🧢
