We sent our audio guru into the rift to capture these real vocalisations of Tyrannosaurus rex.

I definitely find this a lot scarier than that of the ones from Jurassic park/world. Like, don’t get me wrong, hearing a loud roar would be terrifying irl but this is even more so. Just imagine being in the woods at night and hearing THIS and it grow ever so closer. Amazing job, can’t wait to play it 😁

I hate how unnervingly intelligent it looks. An apex predator hunting me that has a major size difference is already scary, but the idea of it being being significantly intelligent in how it hunts me is what triggers primordial fear.

Great audio! Some people think that dinosaurs actually didn't have vocal cords, just like crocodiles, so I can confirm, this is accurate. Instead of roaring like in the Jurassic franchise, dinosaurs probably forced air through their lungs to create low frequency sounds that almost aren't able to be heard by humans.

Well it has been a very long time since I`ve been into dinosaurs,
but since I know of your game, I must admit,
I am really hyped for the possibility of going backwarts in time,
onto a journey to see those long gone creatures so close and so "alive"!

Watching this with decently sized and powered speakers of quality is already pretty impressive on its own, all speaker-chassis slowly stroking several centimeters in an out with almost 2kW possible amplifier power makes the floor (and doors) vibrate in sync when turned up. 0:17 is quite a wallowing sound. and yet the real animal would have had several times the lung capacity and body volume my hifi-setup has, so this is only a fraction of the physical force you would feel in the near proximity. in a dark jungle. at night. fearing for your live. unable to determine the direction the noise comes from cause of its low frequency nature...i can conclude this would be utterly more terrifying than the typical loud high pitched movie roar. blody hell.
