All-i missing in eos r6. I was in Canon Europe livestream during their q/a session they mentioned that depending on user feedback they will add all-i in eos r6 future update so everyone please tell Canon to add all-i in future update .

There are 2 issues I’m worried about. Canon thinking users wouldn’t want All-i is BS. Of course they knew. And the thermal recording limits on R6 is concerning. Just saw the Canon rep interview: 30mins at 4k60 and 40mims for 4k30. If the recovery times are like R5 I’ll have to cancel my pre-order.

I'm torn because I was waiting for the next Canon camera to upgrade from my 5D Mkiii, but losing resolution is tough to swallow. All the other features are great, but I wish the resolution was a little higher. Granted I do mostly portrait work so it won't kill me, it's just a psychological thing. ;-)

A low light sensor, dual cards, IBIS, silent shutter, eye AF, 4k video and a fast 85mm with macro capability. They made a camera for weddings. They made a camera for Joy, Vanessa Joy.
It is like they read my mind. All of my wishlist is checked, but as a hobbyist, i will have to save for some time to get my hands on an R6

Just in case you didn't realize that yet today :-) My question: For your weddings- Would you print large portraits 24x36 or 24x48 for your clients with the 20mp from this camera and be super confident in the quality or what size are you comfortable printing to with this 20mp for your weddings clients?

Hi Vanessa, Thanks for sharing.. Do you have any idea or info or your own insight into why would anyone then buy 1DX III @ $6500 as opposed to $2499 R6... ? I am really confused about pricing here from Canon. Does Canon intend to intentionally cripple 1DX III sales in favor of new line or is there more to it that I probably don't know. I would appreciate if you can provide some input on that. Your content rocks btw, as always !!! Thanks!!!

Thanks for the review, VJ. This model is specced way above my expectations and very reasonably priced here in UK (£2499 including all taxes - which probably makes it about the same as in USA). I would go for this rather than the R5 as I don't want high res video nor do I want huge files. The only thing I'd miss is the top LCD that I've had on all my cameras to date.
