Man I have my 1998 Ford Explorer with the 5.0 V8 I use it for work this baby has 600, 000 miles on it and still has everything original take my word everything is original and never had to change the transmission. Fords are beasts of cars

My wife and i have been looking at getting a truck; she is partial to the Chevy because we have had really good Chevy cars in the past. That being said, I am leaning more towards a Ford because for the years we are looking at in our price range (used), the Ford seems to have better reliability. Having Scotty basically say the same thing pretty much cements it in my mind.

When I was in Iraq for the retake of Ramadi and Fallujah we left our Humvees behind in favor of F-150's on patrol.
We were flying around at 80-90 mph on some fucked up roads and there were zero problems with them. A/C, windows, and all.

Had a dodge, at roughly 90k miles the entire thing started falling apart. Transmission went out before 100k miles. Tons of parts available, yea because you’ll need em.

People make fun of FORDs, but for years I have seen the quality improve while the other have fallen behind in the last decade. Ford was the only company that didn't ask for a bailout and best of all was not purchased by Fiat.

I’ve owned 1 Chevy, 1 Dodge, and 3 Fords, and 2 Nissan in my life. Liked all when they were new, but my favourite though, was the oldest F-150. just as Scotty says. Big V-8, heavy suspension etc. Great truck.

I just bought a 2009 for $200!!! Leather, FX4, loaded (dead transmission though). Spent $3K on a new trans and it's perfect now! Best $3200 ever spent
