the entire lore of seek right now is just:
-chase a dude (get humbled)
-chase a dude (get humbled)
-go down a drain and chase a dude (still get humbled)
-become a powerful amalgamation to kill a dude (get humbled even harder)
-attach yourself to a mysterious tentacle creature to chase down a dude out of the entire hotel (get humbled exactly like the first 3 times)

Fun Fact: Giggles/Grumbles and Screeches are theorised to be related as a species, and that the reason that Screech has ink on its body is because its Seek’s ink and it gives him the ability to control them

Seek is now hella determined to chase you down, from chasing the player twice to turning into an amalgation of an eye blob

Now Screech makes sense. As we seen in the ending of floor 2 Seek literally consumed that Grubble trying to kill us. And since Screech is basically the same species but attacks differently... My single explanation is that Screech is a middle-aged Giggle consumed by Seek.

6:33 Confirmed by the devs (i think), Seek is just a dark blob of eyes. But he can control his appearence to look like anything, in which he chooses to be a humanoid figure, with the eye perfectly moving around into the face. (correct me if im wrong)

Personally I'm kind of a fan of the Grumbles since you can juke them if you manage to improve at floor 2 a bit more. Pretty cool summary of what each entity does :)

Theory: Screech is actually Giggles that are possessed by Seek which explains why they're so familiar.
This is also most likely why Seek "helped" the player by consuming the Grumble.

None of the doors need any nerfs tbh, the only thing that needs a nerf is door 150 (and maybe the seek chase segments that requires you to follow guiding light to the right direction. Seriously guiding light is so hard to see and follow while the seek chase)

I just realized that this might be the last time we actually see Figure. It appears in like 2 rooms before the first seek encounter, and then never again

Theory: screeches and indeed giggles, is just seek controls the giggles and turn them into screeches.
Matter of fact, they attack like the same way but differently.
Giggles attack at the ceiling by going on to your face.
Screeche attack by popping into your face.

Another theory: the giggles/grumbles knows about seek, which is why they never go into the hotel, grumbles can easily come out of the ground, but it refuses to, this proofs that they are scared of seek.

My theory is that screech is an infected giggle by seek, here are my reasons:

Firstly, screech and giggle both love dark rooms, you might think giggle spawns in bright rooms too but if u shine a light on him he gets stunned meaning he doesn’t like the light.

Secondly, giggle and screech both have tentacles even though screech has 2 more tentacles seek could’ve added them.

Also,
screech and giggle both come up to the players body/face and the player physically sees them

Lastly, screech and giggles teeth both look the same meaning it might make them related

Also, if u remember during door 150 ish during the grumble part u see dead bodies for screechs and i assume that the grumble killed them so seek at then killed the grumble at the end cutscene

Altered seek (A.K.A. Dam seek or liquid oil) is my favorite monster because it has many phases and it being a final boss having 3 phases, each phase makes the boss fight intresting and harder
