Funny Fact: Dread have existed since the start of doors as the Anti-cheat entity but was later replaced by Ambush, it made a reappearance in the last frame of the Doors Hotel+ Update Trailer, but only has been released during The Hunt Update.

For the April fools with voice acting, Dread's voice was "Dread gaming" or "Dread noises"

Maybe it should be regular anti-afk when it gets fully added. Maybe after 5 minutes of being in the same room (With exceptions for The Figure), the lights will shatter and the rain outside will suddenly stop. The door behind you will lock, Dread will appear, and it'll then begin to slowly drift towards you akin to the spectre from Spelunky. Apon touch, you die.

Crucifying it will only add another 5 minutes before he comes back, this time faster. Leaving the room you AFK'd in will result in you waving your dread away. Maybe even add a modifier where Dread spawns immediately and you have to fight every entity while almost never standing still

Dreads appearance after one hour in a specific room is just an Easter egg as dread will likely get fully implemented into the game after floor 2 or some other update

other info: when dread spawn it will give u 10 sec to get out of that room asap or else instant dead, but if u have crusifix in rift, you can use it to crusify dread (yes we can crusify dread)

I’m going to come clean and say I have tested to see if this is a myth or not and it is actually real! For some reason there is no badge but you can get it. Wait 45/50 minutes in the hotel room, go to room 13 and wait for another 10/15 minutes. You should get Dread then.

2. You have to wait in doors 0-13. Waiting in door 0 is just a recomendation so Screech doesn't spawn.
