INGREDIENTS FOR FRENCH TOAST:
►6 large eggs
►2 large egg yolks
►1 cup whole milk
►1/4 tsp salt
►2 tsp vanilla extract
►1 tsp ground cinnamon
►1 Tbsp warm honey
►1 lb bread such as Challah, Brioche, or Texas Toast
►3 Tbsp unsalted butter to saute toasts

Just tried the recipe with the Marketside Vanilla Brioche and it's AMAZING. We also tested it with a Sara Lee Artesano Brioche (the Artesano has thicker slices). Both were excellent but it's really hard to beat that Marketside Brioche. We thickly sliced it and left it out overnight and it was perfect. And not only does it taste amazing but it is the prettiest French toast out there. Marketside has an Apple/Cinnamon brioche loaf as well that I want to try next. Outside of the excellent egg custard Natasha made, the key is cooking at the lower temps she recommends and the oven time is what makes it all come together. We recommend this channel to all our friends. Simply the best.

Natasha: I make mine the same way with one exception: When I get them into the skillet, I generously sprinkle regular granulated sugar over the top of the uncooked side. Then, when I flip them, the sugar melts and rehardens into an almost creme brulee crunchy top. To.Die.For. And you don't need additional sweetner or syrup.

Made your french toast this morning and followed your directions to a I used TX toast as that is what I had on hand. I had never made french toast in my cast iron skillet before but now that is the only way I will cook them!!! Love your videos Natasha❤❤
