What comes to mind is how overworked and stressed teachers are. How can we address that so that they can actually give any of these 6 ideas a moment to ponder? Teachers are exhausted and frustrated and don't have time to dig into themselves or look at curriculum biases. We really need to fix both sides of this equation.

In my country children don't say white pencil, they say "right skin color pencil" as if white was the right skin color. Even black kids, like me, didn't realize how racist that is until teenagerhood
