Hey yall. I been grindin the game lately, as I'm tryna go pro. I just recently switched over from standard grip (no claw, no paddles) to right hand claw, tho I do plan to add paddles later on. On my path, I have learned some tips that could help your gameplay.

The first of these tips is putting ADS Turning Boost Ramp Time on 0.20 seconds. You don't need to turn on any ADS boost for it to work. It can work without it. What it will do is make your aim slow down when you aim at someone. Basically, its like a free aim assist boost!

The second tip I would recommend is turning off your advanced options, putting your non-advanced aim sensitivity on 1, then turn your advanced options back on. It will make your crosshair less shaky when aiming, and your aim will be 10x better. You could do the same with your non-advanced look sensitivity as well. It could (possibly) make your mechanics better. The non-advanced sensitivities, while they are grayed out, still affect your advanced sensitivity and build and edit sens. It actually multiplies both to make them either faster or slower.

The third tip is turning the disable pre-edits option to off. Through tests, it has been found that there was a huge input delay in terms of editing when this option was on.

The fourth tip is binding a button you never use to the controller bind that says "Switch Mode/Edit". It is used to get rid of an editing delay. We will never really touch this button, however. What I recommend binding it to is the right D-Pad

This fifth tip is related to the fourth. There is an bind in the keyboard binds section called "Switch Quickbar". Keep that binded to whatever button it is binded to or bind it a button on your keyboard (if you have one) if "Switch Quickbar" is not binded at all. It will get rid of background animations and clutter when building and editing, allowing for better edits. In the creative custom inputs in the keyboard binds section, there is a bind called "Swap Quickbar" It is the same as "Switch Quickbar", but it has a different name. If it is already binded, keep the bind. If not, bind it.

The sixth tip is going to the HUD section, then going to your reticle settings, and turning the reticle damage feedback to off. With the reticle hitmarkers and shield animations on, you can introduce delay, especially on console, as putting your reticle damage feedback on hit only or hit and icons can make your graphics functionality worse, which results in delay.

The seventh tip is going to your controller settings and putting your edit hold time to the max, all the way up to 0.250. If you edit with either of the sticks, the touchpad (Playstation only), or any of the face buttons, this will actually make your edits a lot more consistent.

The eighth and final tip is making your edit mode sensitivity multiplier higher than your build mode sensitivity multiplier. Having them both on the same number can be good, but it makes both building and editing more inconsistent. I recommend putting your edit mode 0.1 higher, as it makes your edits and builds a lot more consistent, smooth, and faster. So dropz, your edit mode would be 1.9.
