On march 23rd 2007, police officers knock on the door of a young man, suspecting he had something to do with the disappearance of a female English Teacher. The man manages to slip past the officers, disappearing into the city.
The man would spend the next two and a half years running around Japan, cutting off parts of his face to change his appearance, and living off the land on a remote island, until he eventually got caught in 2009.
