Hello,

My name is Veronica Ghabour, therapist. Mental health challenges are due to the aftereffects of traumatic experiences. Trauma can place a strain on your family, work, and relationships, and even cause issues with self-worth. I specialize in trauma therapy along with treating personality disorders, depression, mood disorders, anxiety, and addiction. All these disorders can look different from person to person, and that is where our therapeutic journey of empowerment and self-exploration begins. I concentrate on creating a safe space of growth and self-discovery through unconditional positive regard, emotional regulation, and guided activities.

In order to achieve healthier mental functioning, relationships, and emotional well-being, we will need the necessary tools. I utilize versatile interventions such as IFS, CBT, DBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative, and Inner Child Work. These tools can open doors for processing underlying issues and regulating overwhelming feelings.

I also specialize in couples therapy. I aim to assist couples in identifying their underlying issues, practicing healthy communication, and setting appropriate expectations within the relationship.
