Great analogy for success! It sounds pretty similar to what Will Smith said in one of his interviews. Something along the lines of "When you want to build a wall, you don't start off with a wall in mind. You lay down bricks day after day as perfectly as a brick can be laid and before you realize, you are looking at a wall"

Sometimes when I remember some of my small success, I take the time to fully accept them. That always seems to motivate me to set new goals + re-gain a sense of direction in life.

I consider success like a threshold of points that needs to be met. Like beating a boss.

You can chip away at it, but takes long.

You can use more powerful moves but it's more risky and consumes more MP.

Or you can just grind and overlevel to beat it. But regardless you gotta put the time in.

I personally don't even see how simultaneous success is possible considering you have to build towards anything. Even the power rangers gotta know how to pilot, fight, and even get to the point before they conjoin before they conjoin!

I think its most beneficial to measure one's success by setting goals and milestones, then meeting them, and tracking them in success points. I've had to essentially transform my life into a full-blown RPG stat system using excel sheets, planners and journals to motivate myself, build esteem and measure my level of success. Otherwise, like Tim suggests, you will miss it and never feel it.

A successful person is simply someone who succeeds. I consider myself successful because I don't give up until I succeed. Just because you aren't done succeeding doesn't mean you aren't successful. Take pride in what you've already done.

I think success is always a moving goal post if it's about something physical, that's why many don't consider themselves successful.

Communication with others about goals and difficulties and talking about exact details for how to resolve communication problems with the exact people who the problem involves (while being open minded to finding a solution), will help you achieve your goals. Being afraid to discuss important things, will only perpetuate problems, which makes things more stressful than the success brought by communicating.

its really amazing how confusing success can be. Because its never black and white! As a YouTuber, working hard, i understand that success is definitely luck based, but its never the same with people, and that what makes it feel so based on luck
