The zultan rock beat sounded the best for me!

Considering the big companies don't produce quality but cheap cymbals, this one easily goes to the Zultan Aja and rock beat series. However I really enjoyed the Paiste pst5 and would really want to have them

Oh my Zultans blew my expectations haha, made the rest sound like actual toys

Lmao I've never heard of Zultan before but their cymbals look the best in my opinion.

Definitely the Zultan Rock Beat pack!! I mean you can clearily hear the difference in sound quality... Zultan makes such great cymbals even if the price Is ridicolous

I loved the PST5. The roundness of the rides bell as well as the crispy sound from the hats is just wonderful, to me.

I have been playing Zildjian Dark K series cymbals for nearly twenty years now, and will say this about buying cymbals if you are really trying to improve your sounds an tones you create the only way is to try them out in person. Every single one will have it own unique characteristics that you’ll bee looking to get. As for this video both Zultan packs had the most usefulness all around with very good dark tone and nice clean crispness to the Hi-Hats and ride especially the bell of the rides. Very nice either of them would be my choice just based off what I heard in this video.

The best piece of advice I received as a beginner wanting to get serious about my playing - upgrade your hi-hats and ride as soon as you can afford to. You play on those cymbals more than any other cymbal. I started out with a Paiste 400 "pack" which was included with the drum set - 14" hi-hats, 16" power crash, 18" crash ride and a 20" ride - but I upgraded about half a year in to a used set of Paiste 2000 14" Medium Hi-Hats and a used Paiste 505 20" Medium ride, and kept playing on those 400 series crashes for years. It was the best advice I ever received other than you being told to concentrate on the first 5 pages in the Stick Control book.

You guys should hear Arborea Cymbals. Even cheaper than any of these but way beautiful sounding.

My advice is dont buy beginner cymbals brand new. Get yourself second hand higher tier cymbals for the same cost. The resale value is terrible

I really like the sound of the Sabian SBR Promo pack. I also like that they include the splash for diversity.

They all sound like toys except for Zultans

This is a wonderful comparison video! I look forward to more content like this in the future.

It's a tough choice but my favorite cymbals are the Paiste PST5's.

Paiste PST3!!! And I am surprised by that, because normally I am heavy on Sabian, but the Paiste PST3 set sounds sublime in this video! 😍😍😍🥁🥁🥁👌🏾👌🏾✨✨

Definitely the b8X had me on their side. Never thought they were so good for a beginner set.

The Paiste PST5's are clean and well balanced and the ZBT's have good, all-around tone but those Zultan Rockbeats are far above all the others!
