If you want that people do not misunderstand then you need good and open communication skills. You have to be blunt at times so that you get your message across articulately. The biggest problem here is our own imaginations about what people will think if I say this. This is the biggest reason we often do not put forth our opinion and stay quiet which people invariably mistake for condescension. So present your point of view and the communication style will depend upon the situation you are in.
