Your way of articulating your thought process and speaking in a way that's concise and clear is so remarkable - I could genuinely listen to your videos all day...

In his product launches he contextualized the message to individuals, society, governance, economics, technology, current time/news/situation and most importantly history/anthropology.

Contextualization is his number one trait and that’s number one trait of any great communicator.

After watching this, Mr Jobs reminds me of an articulate graduate student.

Some examples of Jobs as a grad student:
The way he starts answering a question with a broad statement before making his point is similar to how grad students are taught to write their intros.

The specificity and lack of carelessness he had in choosing his words is something Primary Investigators really try to instill in their students.

The "Storyteller sets the vision" and "reframes the narrative" idea reminds me of how one should explain their thesis (main point and contribution to society). Its not just presenting your results, but taking the audience on a journey through your thought processes as to why and how you did what you did with the utmost care. And, you can start from anywhere you'd like.

It doesn't surprise me that a lot of innovation and tech start ups begin as grad school projects.

if you obsessively watch(actively) only his videos (no notes) for a while it has some effect on you btw. It happened with me and I was just annoyed at how much repetition people use day to day and the long winded ways they employ to say what they want to say. now, I'm the same as them and my brain doesn't know how to improve.

I remember I had a problem with word choices too. I also could distill an entire paragraph into a much more effective sentence or two without losing its essence. not a native speaker but once the brain picks up on the patterns, the logic is transferable to any language regardless of whether its SVO(english) or SOV(japanese).

The effect was temporary since I stopped obsessively watching steve jobs videos and went back to status quo and forgot everything but hey it works lol. I don't see why somebody can't internalize all aspects of it permanently with something like spaced repetition. in fact I will do the same once I'm done with my current project.

edit: don't try to be as witty as him if you are not witty naturally btw. the man was truly gifted.

The reasons that contributed to Steve Jobs specific behaviour or his 'style' was...

One: He's a Zen Buddhist. Meditations is how he relaxes the mind.

Second: He was a LSD lover, thru it he had eventually achieved the stage of 'ego death'.

I believe he loved simplicity the most and it came out of his every talk. He explained things in simple ways and very on point and used words that have high impact. And so opposite to Bill gates, who seems to always going around the bush and unnecessary uses long words to make him look smart or something i have no idea. And thanks for this video, learn a lot here :)
