When you're poor, money means so much. When you have lots of money, it doesn't matter that much. It's called "diminishing returns".

Everyone is saying the same thing, but he’s not saying money doesn’t matter. He’s just saying for him it wasn’t that meaningful in his life. I feel he was being honest.

By most accounts, even the flattering ones, he was not a nice employer who treated people as more important than money. Not even his own daughter.

Well my grandmother used to say it's not money it's the lack of money that's important

The issue was not that he was worth over a milion when he was 23 but that he wasnt in full low class lvl when he was, 16-18. He would still do somethiny since he was briliant but still he had a good background.
