If my professor wasn't so hell bent on cramming Maple programming down our throats we'd be understanding this stuff better, thanks once again Patrick!

Big Calc II test coming up next monday. Brushing up and watching your videos really helps. Awesome channel, thanks for everything you do!

Always a lifesaver, thanks for the video. You deserve way more subs.

Thank you, so much. For all of your videos, not just this one. I would fail calc 2 without them.

I second what AmonRA210 has said. I wish I had known about you during the first 3 units of Calc II - I might have passed then!

Hero Patrick, you should teach some professors on how to explain things in calc! thank you!

Hello patrickJMT. Now, I have an assignment about Chebyshev Economisation. I have to present about its algorithm, the examples, and analyze the error for every examples that I use. Honestly, I am so confused to find good example because some of the example that I take, makes me confused. For example, if the question wants the third degree of a polynomial but when the answer that I get has only until second degree. That question I take from book authored by Plybon. I hope you can explain to me soon.

How do you know when to do a "degree three" approximation and when to do a "degree two" for instance?

is we are approximating a value of a function using taylor series, then we should end up with a constant. how come we get a variable 'x' in the RHS after appoximation??

does third degree mean the same as taylor polynomial of order 3

i think it is f(a) not f(x) .. because i was wondering the whole video why u didnt replace x with 1 when u r writing f(1) or f'(1) etc.. so a little note can help alot

so ''1'' is both x and a? :/
