I've been trying to make sense of this for like an hour while reading my book and looking at class notes. I looked at your video and got it in less than 2 minutes. You're awesome.

FINALLY! I've been looking all over for a video that demonstrates who to use a Taylor Polynomial to approximate a regular function. Everyone else was just stuck on creating a series for trigonometric functions.

wow I did the problem before watching the full video and I did it to the fourth power b/c it said "quadratic".  Dumb mistake.

could you explain what taylor polynomial approximating a function means though? Is it a sum? What is a cubic approximation for sin(x)? Maybe I missed a step or two in your videos.

Well just like limit and derivative definitions they always teach us useless information and then later on tell us we don't need it and there are much simpler ways. It's MATH!

Cubic = 3, Quadratic = 2??? Then what is 4 called?

how are you getting the values of tables here

God bless you for praying to the math Gods. But alas. They have ignored your petty cries. And so we will continue to do Maclaurin until you invent a simpler way to do it and teach it to us all.

misleading description. Says that you find fourth degree

They do....It's called computers which I use frequently in research. Sure you can say that instructors don't permit the use of computers in class, but I would just refer you back to my original comment of "learning information and finding much simpler ways...". Get off youtube and go back to failing Cal 2.
