I teach it similar, except when the car moves freeze your feet for a second then gently off the clutch. staying on the clutch for longer is not good for it.

Nah i just use the clutch only to get the car moving btw some cars have very sensitive gas pedal just tapping the gas pedal the car over revs like crazy its all about having good clutch control

Once training is over . My trainer drove car My trainer stalled the car moving from side road to main pulling in 3rd instead 1st. He said it happens to everyone. He has 30 years of experience. This creates anxiety that even it happens to experienced one. What is dangerous other than passing. Is that potential drawback of manual car.
