THE GPU Worth Waiting For
Intel is on track to release their next generation Battlemage GPUs soon, and according to the latest leaks they could be much faster than we originally thought. Not only could Battlemage be much faster than Intel’s current Arc Alchemist GPUs, but a new leak is suggesting that the flagship Battlemage GPu could be as fast as the RTX 4090. Additionally the Battlemage Graphics card will draw much lower power and have a giant increase in raytracign performance. With a GPU so powerful Nvidia may be in trouble with the RTX 4090.

The only hope involves the rumors that nvidia is trying to stop partners from working with Intel. And they wouldn't do that unless they were some kind of threat. They just need to make anything cheaper than Nvidia at the same performance. 4060Ti, 4070, 4080.. doesn't really matter so long as they bring real competition into the space. 4090 will probably still be off in it's own world and that's ok because most people aren't going to buy it anyway.

I highly doubt Battlemage will be as fast as the RTX 4090. That is an extremely bold statement to make. Best case scenario it could be slightly faster than the 4070 Ti. Which would still be very impressive considering Battlemage will only be Intel's 2nd generation of GPUs.

We all want Intel to do well but 4090 is some high expectations. 4070ti and 4080 performance sounds a lot more possible. I bet with driver updates it will reach 4080 performance. We definitely need more competition in the market

I dont believe it. I have been lied to about leaks time and time again. 7900xtx should be same as 4090 its not. 3080ti will have more vram it did not. Leaks are leaks until I see reviews I don't believe it. It could be with certain games. I highly doubt it and I would love to be proven wrong.

Too late. I just bought a used 3090 24GB. It's going to have to suffice me until this horrifically stupid gpu market corrects itself hopefully in a couple years.

I wouldn't expect the Battlemage to be as fast as the 4080 but closer to something between the 4070 and the 4070ti.
If we would get a card as fast as the 4070ti with 16GB for $400-$500 then everybody would be happy and I can assure you that this price is totally plausible and realistic.
That's why Jensen is so afraid of Intel GPUs and he tries to stop AIB partners from producing Intel GPUs because they can ruin this market from Jensen's greedy point of view.
So it will be all about the price and the drivers and we need a 3rd player badly because this damn price-fixing duopoly is destroying this market.
