There is no such thing as bad GPU, only bad pricing. In my country I am getting 4060ti at the same price as 3060ti and that makes it a no brainer

the VRAM increase in Ti variants is often for workstations where VRAM is more important than cuda cores. It literally halves the render time.

The 4060 and 4060 Ti are not bad GPUs. They work just fine. What they are are 4050 and 4050 Ti. That is the issue. They are no longer giving you top middle for mid range. They are giving you bottom low, a 4050, and they raised the price past what a 4050 should be. In fact they raised the price on both GPUs past what a x060 should be while giving you an x050 in specs. That is the issue. The price is too high and the performance too little.

For anyone wanting to save money or have no need to upgrade later on, the 4060 ti 16gb is a good decision, its less power hungry than any of the 30 series and performs at a good experience for high settings or competitive setting for the time being

In my country a rtx 3060 ti cost 500+ Euros and more while a 8gb 4060 TI costs about 300 to 360 Euros so yea

DLSS 3 on rtx4060ti can achieve frames of rtx3090 previous dlss enabled + you are getting AV 1 enocder which does not sound interesting for lot of people but actually is really good feature, after all you have new GPU

I had a GTX 1070 since 2016 and went with an RTX 4060ti 16GB and I couldn't be happier with its performance.

I'm very inexperienced to pc's, , please reply honestly, I bought my first game pc at Costco, it's a cyberpow i5 13400f, mb asrock b760m-c, 32 gbddr5 teamgroup red Vulcan, 2tb gen4 m.2 nvmw adata legend 800 gold, gigabyte 4060, amethyst ll case, i forget the psu but it was 800 gold, for 900 bucks 2yr warranty, , I can still return it if I got spanked so to speak, I have 32 more days to return no questions asked. it only bad if u are upgrading to it, but getting it for the first time it a really good upgrade, u got 16 gb vram, dlss3, u will have a good gaming experience in 1080p and 1440p for a solid at least 3 years until new generations comes out and price will drop then u can upgrade to better and it continues like that

I really want to play vr on it and I have a quest 2 headset and I was informed that meta isn't optimized for AMD. Idk how that works as if I hook it into my pc as a "rift " shouldn't I boot from steam vr or Virtual desktop? Anyways I'm looking for a 16gb card plus any ideas would be great!
