The crucial thing you omitted was to start by going to View / Toolbars / Device toolbar! In my copy of Audacity, device toolbar was not checked and was not visible!

First off, Thank you. Now to my problem. The tool bar that you show to select "WASABI" is not showing on my computer I have turned all toolbars on. What am I missing?

I don't have that bar on audacity to select windows WASAPI. I tried setting host as windows WASAPI elsewhere, but it just records silence.
