I am making a backing track. But when I hit record the other tracks I’ve already recorded are in a lower frequency or something. They sound way lower than the actual recorded. I would love to find a fix for this.

when I select new track and click on record I can't see the vocal is being recorded in new track but its getting recorded in the selected stero track and also I can't hear my vocal I can hear only the music

Hi, do you know how to fix the problem when audacity fails to start recording and just sits there and if it eventually does start, it's stuttering and also stops again?
I fixed this before by updating the usb storage container driver but I'm now using windows 11 and I'm not even getting that option via the Intel driver app. I can't record anything because of this problem. The recording is using a backing track then singing via a microphone to it
